The first single from You Are The Quarry — "Irish Blood, English Heart" — is released on the Attack label through Sanctuary Records on the 4th of May in the U.S. (on the 10th of May in the U.K.).

The video for the single was world premiered on the 20th of April on VH1.com.

Morrissey's brilliant new single "Irish Blood, English Heart" is illuminating radio airwaves internationally. The single was world premiered on the 22nd of March on Los Angeles radio station KROQ, where it is now the most requested song and one of the top 10 most played songs. The single was first played in the U.K. on the 29th of March on BBC Radio 1.

You Are The Quarry is produced by Jerry Finn and engineered by Joe McGrath.

Musicians on the album are: Boz Boorer (guitar), Alain Whyte (guitar), Gary Day (bass), and Dean Butterworth (drums), with Roger Manning (piano).

The album has been recorded at Sarm in Berkshire (England), and Conway Studio in Los Angeles.

Attack are also negotiating with Nancy Sinatra to release her version of "Let Me Kiss You" as a single. The song was originally recorded by Morrissey for inclusion on You Are The Quarry. Also, Attack plan to release a single by James Maker (ex-Raymonde) called "I'm Unbearable."
